I am well connected in local communities. Through my assessments, listening to families and hearing what they are saying, I identify the cause of the issues they are experiencing. I have a strong understanding of the fragile state many families are in, especially in baby's early weeks. Each family is treated with understanding and compassion, guided to meet their infant feeding goals. I create plans with this in mind as well as the families’ collaboration.

Hey There, I’m Lynne Ricardo RN, IBCLC

As a mother of 2 young adults, I vividly remember the challenges we had with painful latch, questioning if I had enough milk, feeling like I was all thumbs, awkward with positioning and then the challenge of returning to work!

Now I spend my days helping mothers by providing the lactation support they need to gain confidence in their ability to provide breastmilk to their babies.

I received my initial certification in 1997 and have worked in hospitals (pediatrics and maternity), pediatrician offices and with Visiting Nurse Agency. I was the Lead facilitator of Baby Cafe at Keeping Pace in West Bridgewater, MA for some time prior to moving to private practice and helping families in home & in office.

I am a tie savvy IBCLC, trained in evaluating and manging cases where tongue and/or lip tie are the cause of breastfeeding challenges and a provider who will refer to skilled local providers as needed for further evaluation and treatment.
