Real-life guidance to help you on your breastfeeding journey

Services

  • Initial Consultation

During an initial consult, whether it’s in home or in office, I will assess a complete feeding, help with position, latch, milk transfer, conduct a functional oral assessment to evaluate for tongue/lip ties, & create a customized feeding plan to meet your goals.

  • Follow Up Visits

Follow Up Visits are offered to established clients re-assess feeding, milk transfer and revise infant feeding plan. Follow up visits are offered at reduce costs as many breastfeeding issues require more than one visit to resolve.

  • Virtual Consults

If you need lactation support but prefer telehealth or live outside of the area, a Virtual consult is the solution for you! Similar to in person, during a telehealth visit, I will do a breastfeeding assessment, provide helpful and actionable tips for latching & positioning and provide a tailored care plan to help you reach breastfeeding success.

  • Prenatal Consults

Learn strategies to get breastfeeding off to a good start before your baby is born. You will learn about positioning, latch, how to tell if baby is getting enough, and much more. I will review your history and together we will make a plan to get breastfeeding off to a good start.

I contract with a company called The Lactation Network. They bill a few insurance companies directly to provide lactation support with no out of pocket cost. You can check eligibility here for in-office lactation support with no out of pocket cost.

  • Whether you decide on an in person or virtual visit depends on your preferences and location. While anyone can be seen virtually, if you live south of Boston, MA, you have the option of being seen in my Marshfield office or in the comfort of your own home.

  • Aboslutely! In addition to being able to provide breastfeeding & lactation support, as an RN & IBCLC, I have the skills and expertise to help with bottle feeding challenges. Many parents who work with me desire to get baby back at the breast, however, even if that is not your goal, together we can work to make bottle feeding safe, effective & stress-free for everyone involved.
